Stonehenge
The prehistoric stones which are now designated as a world heritage site are a must see for anybody visiting Wiltshire. If you are here on the 21st of June why not go and watch the summer solstice rise through the stones at dawn.
Old Sarum
The Iron Age hill fort contains ruins of a castle, cathedral and royal palace as well as spectacular views of the surrounding countryside.
Salisbury Cathedral
Britain's finest 13th century cathedral built in the largest medieval close and with the tallest spire in Britain. It also houses Europe's oldest clock and the world's best preserved magna carter.
Wilton House
Home to the 18th earl of Pembroke provides an insight in to British history both inside the house and in the gardens.
Longleat
An historic house together with a maze and a safari park.
Bath
The Georgian city famous for its Roman baths.
Larmer Tree Gardens
Created in 1880 as pleasure grounds they are an extraordinary example of Victorian extravagance and vision.
Lacock Abbey
Country house created from a medieval manor. Home to Fox Talbot a pioneer of photography.
Museum of army flying
Displays of kites, gliders airplanes and helicopters as well as a simulator.
Salisbury racecourse
Enjoy a day at the races.
Thruxton Motorsport Centre
Enjoy a day trying out a ferrari, a porsche or a lotus.
Have a game of Golf on one of the many courses in Wiltshire.
